I had a wonderful stay at Protea Hotel in Walvis Bay. The location was absolutely stunning, situated right on the lagoon and next to the Waterfront and the Raft. The abundance of birdlife, especially the thousands of pelicans, added to the beauty of the surroundings. My room was comfortable with a big and comfy bed, allowing me to have a good rest during my 4-night stay. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

The restaurant. Although it was beautiful, the quality of food and service left much to be desired.

Fantastic staff who are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a fantastic location with stunning views of the flamingos. The breakfast is excellent and there are plenty of good restaurant options nearby. The hotel is well-furnished and the wifi is reliable.

I was very satisfied with the Protea Hotel, but was dissapointed to pay for the shuttle to the airport. On your website you say there is a free shuttle from the airport, but you don't say anything that you have to pay for the shuttle to the airport

I absolutely loved the beautiful decoration of the hotel's general areas. The lobby and lounge were tastefully adorned with elegant furniture and lovely artwork, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found it delightful to relax and read a book in these charming spaces. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent. There were ramps and handrails throughout the property, making it easy and safe for me to navigate around, especially with my walking stick.

I would have preferred if the children working there were more attentive and helpful to senior guests. A little more consideration and assistance from the staff would have made my vacation even better.

The staff were friendly. The view of the lagoon from the rooms is breathtaking. The room service was fast and the food good, but expensive.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel on the stunning bay. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views and a charming promenade right outside our room. We loved being able to walk to the nearby restaurants and enjoy the delicious food. The staff were incredibly helpful and the wifi was reliable, making our stay even more convenient. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options and all with a beautiful view of the bay.

We loved the hotel's location on the bay as it offered stunning views and easy access to the promenade and Yacht Club. Our room was clean and comfortable, making our stay pleasant. The breakfast was also excellent, and we got to enjoy it with a great view of the bay.

The hotel location is amazing, right on the beach quay which offers beautiful bay views and short walks to great restaurants. The rooms were superb, clean with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were decently equipped, with good amenities. Breakfast was great too, with ample options. We especially loved the warm attitude of the staff and their quick service. The outside areas were well maintained too.

The pricing could be a bit lower.

I chose this hotel for attending a convocation as it provided excellent event facilities, including conference space and meeting rooms. The facilities were well-equipped and conducive for a successful business gathering.

One service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center. It would have been convenient to have access to computers, printers, and other office equipment within the hotel premises.
